My Role

  • Designed and created a first person stealth game that transitions into naval combat to showcase single-player campaign flow and level design. 

  • Created a stealth based section on an island with 3 pathways and areas to hide from patrolling AI.

  • Created an action packed ship to ship combat section with multiple enemies and destructible environment rocks.

Pirates Cove is a third person action adventure game where you play as a former pirate, a man who steals a medallion from his former crew, to sell for riches. Sneak through islands crawling with pirates and shoot your way to a new life.

Game Overview

Kingslayer is a narrative driven action adventure game set in a fantasy medieval era. Kingslayer uses an isometric camera angle allowing for combat gameplay focused on precise movement and abilities that are entwined with the morality system.

My Role

  • Documented and designed 6 level beats, flow, game-play and map layouts, 4 of which made it to final build. 

  • Built and iterated on enemy/cover placement around the core combat system. 

  • Researched and understood how isometric levels are built to incorporate designs into Kingslayer. 

  • Optimized graphic performance through; LOD’s, occlusion culling, texture compression and mipmaps.
